Paris Hilton Biography

Oscar was born on February 17, 1981, the daughter of Rick and Kathy Hilton, being the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton hotel chain and source of the family fortune – estimated at $ 300 million. Her grandfather, Conrad “Nicky” Hilton Jr, also brought the family notoriety, as he was the first of Elizabeth Taylor’s several husbands. Paris’s younger sister Nicky (born 1983) shares the throne as a co-heir to the Hilton empire. Raised in Manhattan’s glamorous Waldorf-Astoria, the family’s New York home, as well as other Hilton residences in Beverly Hills and the Hamptons, Paris didn’t seem to crave too much. Even after graduating from high school, college didn’t seem to appeal to him.

So around the year 2000, Paris decided to diversify and become famous. She began to build her own name as a model, quickly appearing on runways for designers like Mark Bouwer and Catherine Malandrino, and later completed an ad campaign for Iceberg, an Italian firm. Additionally, Paris has posed for magazines such as GQ, Vanity Fair, and FHM, as well as People magazine alongside her sister. At the same time, Paris was beginning to be the center of attention due to her relationships – real or imagined by the paparazzi – with some young Hollywood stars.

In early 2000, Paris was seen with Leonardo DiCaprio. Regardless, she apparently dated “Terminator 2” star Edwar Furlong for a few months, and was later seen with boxer Oscar de la Hoya. Paris was also linked to actor Tommy Hilfiger, Sum 41 frontman Derek Whibley andNick Carter of the Backstreet Boys Paris and his younger sister Nicky also became notorious socially, gracing party after party and getting bad press for their behavior. For example, Paris made headlines for pushing other people into the sinks, and when she was scolded for her rudeness she joked that she just wanted to look in the mirror.

Still, Paris maintains that bad press “sucks” and that “people are bad.” Perhaps in an effort to improve her image, Paris has tried to make her mark by working on more substantial projects. In 2001, he had a small appearance in Ben Stiller’s “Zoolander.” Other appearances included a role as a supermodel in the short “The Hillz” (co-starring her boyfriend Jason Shaw), “Wonderland” and the big screen adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic “The Cat in the Hat.” He also appeared on the FOX show “The Simple Life,” based on “Green Acres,” where Oscar lived on a farm. The show was so successful that it will surely have a sequel.

At the peak of her growing acting career, Paris has designed a collection of bags for Tokyo firm Samantha Thavasa together with her sister Nicky. Paris is also doing charity work for Toys for Tots. Unfortunately, her attempt to start a modeling company and makeup line seems to be failing. Paris has also made headlines thanks to a session she did with the well-known lesbian Ingrid Casares, and to an erotic video of her and her ex-boyfriend Rick Solomon that was posted on the internet and spread like wildfire. Oscar worked on “Raising Helen” in 2004, starringKate hudson
