Brad Pitt was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Springfield, Missouri. His was a modest family, his father is a truck driver and his mother a teacher. Brad Pitt started studying Advertising and Graphic Design but before graduating he realized he wanted to be an actor and dropped out of school. In 1986 he went to Los Angeles to try his luck; There he got some slips but it was not enough to survive so he had to earn a living working as a limousine driver, waiter, dishwasher, night watchman or chicken dress to claim a restaurant.
His first steps on television were in the television series “Dallas”, “Problems grow” and “Thirty-something.” In 1989 he met fellow actress Juliette Lewisand maintains a romance with her that will last three years. It is not until 1991 that his great opportunity will come, the springboard that will launch him to stardom. It was in Ridley Scott’s “Thelma and Louise”, opposite Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, that she played a thieving hitchhiker. They were undoubtedly the 15 minutes best used by Brad Pitt. From then on he became an idol and a sex symbol (we must not forget the impressive physique of this blonde with blue eyes and 1.82 m tall).
He was a Levi’s boy in a commercial and shot for Robert Reford’s “The River of Life.” Other major films were “Kalifornia”, “Interview with a Vampire”, “Sleepers”, “Seven” and “Seven Years in Tibet”.but they ended up breaking up, apparently, because of this young actor’s fear of committing himself more seriously. He is currently associated with Jennfier Aniston (famous for her role as Rachel on the television series “Friends”). In 1995 he got an Oscar nomination for “Twelve Monkeys” by Terry Gilliam (Monty Python) where he gave life to a mental patient.
