It's an action adventure/adventure comedy. They play estranged twins with very opposite personalities. Lizzie (Ashley) is very focused and driven, while Shane (Mary-Kate) is more relaxed, but concerned about the environment. Both girls are chosen for a Survivor-like popular game show with college scholarships as the prize. Summary written by Anonymous Shane is very into nature and Lizzie is not. They are complete opposites, or so they think. Both enter to be in a TV show and the makers of the show think it would be fun to put them both on the same team when they hate each other. Shane lives in LA with her mom and Lizzie in DC with her dad. They haven't seen each other in 2 yrs. They are both put on team Mayan. They have to try and get along for the sake of the team, and their scholarships to college. They of course break some romance rules with some guys who look much too old for them. Overall I loved this movie! Watching the twins get covered in gross things and have to eat snake meat is totally worth the wait for this movie that was made over a year ago. ALso funny is the character JJ who thought she was going on STarmaker to sing.. she's hilarious!!! But by far the best part of this movie is the ending when MK&A get out of character and play themselves to have a cute scene to end their straight to video movie career. Very clever.
