This is a spin-off of the first "God of Gamblers" movie, and before the other spin-off and two sequel/prequels. Michael Chan, the Knight of Gamblers (Andy Lau), the disciple of the God of Gamblers) is approached by Chow Sing Cho, the Saint of Gamblers (Stephen Chow). Chow Sing Cho has telekinetic powers which he uses for gambling, but wishes to learn the skills of Michael's mentor, as the money he wins can only be used for charity, or he will be cursed. The two master gamblers must set aside their differences when an old enemy of the God of Gamblers attempts to discredit them, and fight against a common foe.
